The Dallas Opera is globally renowned for its spectacular performances, luscious staging and stunning home at the Winspear Opera House in the Dallas Arts District. However, its decade-old website had lost a bit of polish over the years.

Working with the TDO team and our digital developers, my team and I led a redesign of the site that included an easy-to-use CMS, simplified user experience and scalable, contemporary design.

Local Hub Bicycle Co. was in need of branded bike kits to sell in-store to their loyal and excited customer base. They desired something “in brand,” unisex, and easy to wear. My design solution incorporated their brand textures and colors with the addition of a bicycle spoke design appearing throughout. They have since been flying off the shelves and I often get to see the kits zoom by me on the Santa Fe Trail.

The Austin CVB wanted to test the effectiveness of a single-city advertising blitz. My team and I brought the “Live Music Capital of the World” to the City of Angels with a four-week run of digital ads, radio spots, metrobus wraps and a couple of supersized guitars we placed on West Hollywood transit kiosks.

The media plan delivered more than 69 million impressions in a single month and helped increase flight bookings to Austin from the L.A. area nearly 70%

The Austin brand was lacking focus. Research told us that Austin’s reputation as a music-focused destination was its primary asset, so we recommended that the city fully embrace its position as the “Live Music Capital of the World.”

In just the first year of the campaign, total direct travel spending in Austin increased 7% to $6.3 billion, local tax revenue jumped 11% to $148 million and hotel occupancy broke 70% for the first time in the city’s history.

FRIGO needed a custom packaging solution and design for a limited-edition line only available to an exclusive number of customers. For a sense of luxury the package features tonal foil, gold foil, spot varnishes, a magnetic closure and silk lined interior. With shipping and display in mind the design easily stacks and stands.

Bike Friendly Deep Ellum holds a ride every Thanksgiving to collect canned food for the homeless. Bike Friendly DE needed posters to hang at local shops and bars to help them get the word out. For two consecutive years I designed the event poster.
